The following images highlight the trends that we have seen since the launch of our new magazine ad format starting with our Aug/Sept Issue. As expected, we have a huge surge of use at the beginning of each magazine drop and then a plateau around week 2 where we see a consistent stream of activity throughout the following 6 weeks, until the surge of the next issue.
*** All statistics were collected December 13th, 2021 exactly one week after the drop of our latest Dec/Jan issue. We will be updating this page with every new issue so that you can see the trends happening yourself in real time.

<<< This graphic shows a break down of QR code scans per month since our first issue in Aug/Sept to the FIRST WEEK of our December Issue. This shows us that in the first 7 days of the magazine's release 113 scans were accrued for this business in particular. The trend of accruing the most scans during the first week of dropping is one that we see across the board for ALL of our businesses.
<<< Keep in mind that this graphic is only for ONE of the half page ads that we ran out of 18-24 pages of ads in one zone of the magazine... We feel that this speaks volumes about the popularity and community wide use of our magazines.

<<< It is worth noting that since the introduction of our QR Codes, readers no longer HAVE to go through our website to reach each business' website or social media pages... They can click from the QR Code DIRECTLY TO YOUR SITE, without even stopping here at our site first. As we suspected would happen, many of our clients have reported to us that they have seen a similar surge on the backend of their websites that directly correlates with the drop of the magazines.

We continue to work and speak with our clients about the trends that they are experiencing on an individual level, and we are using that information to make ongoing improvements as we see necessary! We are THRILLED with the success that we've seen so far from our new format of the magazines and online business directory. We are dedicated to providing our community - residents and small business owners alike - a way to connect and support one another!!

TIPS FOR MORE SCANS & COUPON USE

1. Design is EVERYTHING!!!!!
Postal Publications prides itself on the master level of design quality we are able to bring to our ads. We encourage you to compare the quality of design in our magazines to any other local publication to see for yourself the elevated level of graphics.
Just like you know the ins and out of your business, we know ours... We know what kind of photos, graphics and text is going to grab the attention of readers. We have noticed that the top performing ads throughout the years are ones that have simple knock-out designs with easily recognizable, and high impact images. Flipping through the magazine you can tell which ads allowed us to "do our thing" and which ads were heavily influenced by the design requests of someone with lesser knowledge of design. The quality of photographs used is of the UPMOST IMPORTANCE!!! If you're going to make the investment into a huge local advertising campaign, you want to make sure that your investment is not lost on less-than-great photos!! We can help with this!! We will always make suggestions to make your ad as visually strong as possible. Of course, you will always have total control and the final say over what gets printed in the magazine.
2. Make Strong COUPON OFFERS!!!!!
Our top performing ad for coupon uses in the first week was Jersey Mikes, with 133 clicks. They offered Buy 1 Get 1 Free, $2 Off Any Sub, AND a FREE Chip & Drink. Even our smallest size ad (1/6 page) is able to generate attention when the offer is strong enough. For example, Millers Cafe ran one offer of Buy 1, Get 1 FREE Burger and was able to convert 73 people in 7 days into potential walk-in customers!! Haute Stuff Boutique had 99 coupons uses in the first week with the offer of $10 OFF One Item... If you need help coming with an effective over that is going to catch people's attention and get them calling your phone, to your door, or to your website, WE CAN HELP!!!!
3. Use Your QR Code at your store front or on other marketing pieces!!!!
Simply request your custom designed QR Code and we will provide it to you. You can print and frame your code and place it near your cash register, or print your QR code on business cards, postcards, menus, ect for customers to scan and connect directly with your website and social media pages!
4. Share a Post On Your Social Media Page!!!
You can easily type your customized QR Code link into the body of a Facebook caption and it will auto generate a clickable image for you! Give it a try or ask us how to do this!!
5. Repeated Exposure!!!
Also contributing to the effectiveness of our magazine ads is the potential for ongoing, repeated exposure. Homeowners and businesses commonly have magazine racks or other spaces where they keep magazines for other readers or repeat use. We have learned that many of our readers carry their magazines around with them in their purses or vehicles so that they can reference them throughout the day as needed! This gives you the potential to reach a large number of people with one copy and the same reader multiple times. Plus, since magazines are a static medium, readers can analyze or look at your message indefinitely. That being said, running your ad with a consist overall look across multiple issues is what we've found is the most effective way to guarantee maximum conversion from your ads. One specific reader may not need your services in March, but they find that they do in April and remember, "I saw an ad for that in the last issue of Postal Publications... let me look again..." Wah-lah, customer conversion!!!
